AIM-54 ECCM/Sealed

The AIM-54 ECCM version featured enhanced electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) and did not require coolant during flight.

The guidance and control sections of the ECCM/Sealed missile are the WGU-17/B and WCU-12/B, respectively.
The available warhead sections are the WAU-19/B and WAU-21/B.

Other improvements include a reprogrammable memory, and new software for the signal processor.

Because the AIM-54 ECCM/Sealed received no coolant, the F-14s carrying this version of the missile could not exceed a specified airspeed.
