The AIM-47B was the planned production version for the F-12B, featuring folding fins for internal carriage. The F-12B was canceled before the AIM-47B could be produced in quantity.
The AIM-47B retained the same dimensions as the AIM-47A, but was slightly lighter at 800 pounds. The production F-12B would have employed three AIM-47Bs.
