K1

The K1, sometimes referred to as the 88 Tank is a South Korean main battle tank in use with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, developed by Hyundai Precision (later Hyundai Rotem).

First production variant. 1,027 units built between 1985 and 1998. To be upgraded to K1E1 by 2026.
