RVV-BD

The RVV-BD (Ракета Воздух-Воздух Большой Дальности / Raketa Vozduh-Vozduh Bolshoy Dalnosti), is the export version of R-37M, with offers toi India as of 2025. It is a downgraded export variant of the R-37M, introduced by Rosoboronexport in 2023. Also known as “product 620,” it was developed to meet international demand while limiting sensitive technology transfer.

Key Differences from R-37M:

• Limited to 200km range.
• Features folding rear fins for compatibility with aircraft like the Su-30MKI, Su-35, and MiG-31BM.
