The T-72M (Object 172M-E3 / Ob'yekt 172M-E3) Czechoslovakia is a soviet export version based on the downgraded T-72A model.
It was specifically designed for Warsaw Pact members. It is identical to the Polish export version and is not officially a different version but could have different add-ons.
Also referred to as T-72G by some but this is not an official name, rather an old, NATO-given name. This model was built under licence by ZŤS Martin (nowadays Slovakia).
Features:
- rubber side skirts (instead of "gill armour")
- 902B "Tucha" smoke grenade launchers
