New Iranian Main Battle Tank heavily based on the T-72M platform.

Key features and differences:

• 125mm 2A46M-5 smoothbore gun and autoloader
• Advanced composite armor and three types of ERA
  • side skirts made of same NERA as T-90MS
• remote weapon system (RWS) doubles as a commander's sights with a thermal imager with a 12.7mm machine gun.
  • panoramic sights can move independently from the rest of the RWS as opposed to the Rakhsh
• Fire Control System based off TURMS used on modern Italian tanks
• entirely newly welded hexagonal turret like the T-90M
